Visiting Scholar, collaboration

Project team member, Alexandre Schiele from Université du Québec visited the #ScholCommLab at Simon Fraser University twice in 2018 collaborate with Germana Barata and Juan Alperin, from SFU, and Michelle Riedlinger, from the University of the Fraser Valley. February and April 2018.

Public Lecture

We invited popular Canadian science communicator on Instagram, Samantha Yammine to take part at the panel How I Scicomm: Mapping the new frontiers of science communication in Canada during the 47th Science Writers and Communicators National Conference: On the Edge. SFU, Vancouver. April 12-15, 2018. Samantha also gave a short workshop at the conference on How to use Instagram for science communication.
